Desert Vipers Schools Programme update

Back in Action: Desert Vipers Schools Programme Resumes

Season 4’s Desert Vipers Schools Programme resumes after a championship stint at the DP World ILT20. Building on the momentum of previous seasons, the programme continues to engage students through high-energy, interactive sessions that blend cricket skills, teamwork, physical activity, and sustainability awareness. From skill-based challenges to collaborative activities, each session encouraged confidence, active participation, and meaningful connections between cricket, nature, and sustainability.

Voices from the Schools

“We have a big push within school for sustainability. The fact that we can use sport as a vehicle will help to reach out to more students, rather than just the teacher talking at the front of this. We’re actually getting hands-on life experience of sustainability. I think it is a fantastic opportunity for students and staff as well, because they will be picking up on things and then obviously that message then gets home to parents. So, I think it is a great vehicle to support their current message”
– Stuart Booth, Director of Sports, GEMS Winchester
