The Desert Vipers
Owned by Lancer Capital, the Desert Vipers are one of six teams competing in the ILT20 tournament held in the UAE during January and February. The Desert Vipers were the first team to qualify for the Final in the inaugural 2023 edition.
Phil Oliver (CEO), Tom Moody (Director of Cricket), and James Foster (Head Coach) lead the operations, supported by Carl Crowe (Bowling Coach), Simon Helmot (Fielding Coach), and Neil McKenzie (Batting Coach).
With Lockie Ferguson leading the charge for the Vipers, players like Alex Hales, Sherfane Rutherford, and Wanindu Hasaranga rejoin the Vipers for a third consecutive season. Azam Khan, Fakhar Zaman, and Dan Lawrence bolster the batting line-up, while Mohammad Amir, Sam Curran, and Luke Wood spearhead the pace attack in the red and black colours.
The Vipers are pioneers of sustainability in professional cricket, prioritising eco-conscious operations and transparency in their carbon footprint, aiming to set a benchmark for global sports teams.
