The Desert Vipers Talent Pathway, in association with Balqis Capital, held its first coaching session last night, marking an exciting milestone in the programme’s journey. The session was extremely well attended, with both boys and girls taking part and showing tremendous commitment from start to finish (in very humid conditions!)
Across the two hours, players were put through a series of strength and conditioning drills, skill-based activities, and net practice. Standards were high throughout, with participants working hard to develop their technique, sharpen their fitness, and demonstrate the passion and discipline required to progress along the pathway.

The session also highlighted our inclusive vision, bringing together talented cricketers from diverse backgrounds to train in a professional, structured environment.
“It was fantastic to see so many young players engaged and eager to improve,” said head coach, Jack Luffman. “The effort and enthusiasm on display set a really high benchmark for the programme moving forward, and we’re excited to help each player on their journey.”
With such a strong start, the Talent Pathway is set to build momentum as it continues to nurture the next generation of cricketing talent. Our next session is tomorrow, September 18 – keep an eye on our website for all the latest!
